I work with professional women who are unfulfilled in their 9 to 5, desire to build their business and eventually plan their exit strategy into full time entrepreneurship. One of the questions I get asked the most (outside of how do I figure out my purpose) is “What skills and/or talents should I build my business around?” And I always respond with, “Start by identifying your gift, not your skills.” Your gift is the thing or things that God has placed in you, that others couldn’t do as well with no matter how hard they tried.
Many times we simply don’t know where to start. Whether we recently made the decision to begin building a business or whether we started a year ago and are feeling stuck. Either way, its about figuring out where to start to begin to put the pieces together. When attempting to build a strategy for what to do next, there are some key questions you should ask yourself.
